Practicing Gratitude 1.22.21

- Brogdons AND Keisters here last night, kids had so much fun! Dinner, hot tub, movie upstairs… really is dreamy getting to see the kiddos all forge close friendships

- THIS from Krista. Cannot recommend highly enough. Effective tool to "think" Gospel

“The gospel is the one great permanent circumstance in which I live and move; and every hardship in my life is allowed by God only because it serves his gospel purposes in me.”  -
Gospel Primer

- How Essie spends her time in Bible class

- MLK day, today off work, back sitting by the fire this morn

- Good black coffee

- SCS Cheer highlights

- Corbin listening to all my words! (Where's Nan's rule when he needs it?)

- Friday mornings at home (yes, I think this makes every single Gratitude list)

- Highlight of my week

- Fun text from Ashlee!

- She's a mess. And she knows it

- Hud’s text last night, asking us to pray for a friend (that he would think to ask us) - a privilege to pray

- Hud’s mystery date dash with about 20 of his bffs, and that I happened to see it on social media!

- That Corbin took the initiative to get pantry light and bathroom chandelier installed and working again - no small thing that he took care of these things

- Things that make me laugh

- Essie's first game to play in (because of injury), and she scored a goal! Probably even more fun for me and Daboo than for Essie

“Give us aid against the enemy,

for the help of man is worthless.

With God we will gain the victory,

and he will trample down our enemies.” Ps 108: 12-13

- On their way to a Daddy/daughter weekend

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles...   1 Chronicles 16:11-12
