Practicing Gratitude 3.27.20 (Corona Week 2)

- These seniors are still seniors, Corona and all

- Corona quarantine hasn't slowed Corbin's weekend breakfasts
he actually enjoys this, finds joy in making big breakfasts
- Continued quarantine, a couple of weeks in now. Grateful for a quiet calendar, time in the mornings, no rush (or need) to get dressed, being HOME, all of our family here

- Sunday morning church

- Kenya (zoom) training

- James Gang zoom-in

- SUNSHINE. All of last week was rainy, pitiful. The past few days have been gorgeous with loads of sunshine, lifts my heart so much

- Corbin's long days at work, the emotional/ mental weight he's carrying for his people. So very grateful he's at RANT

- My work, keeps me occupied and there's been plenty to do - some really great people I get to interact with at SCS

- At home - wifi, printer, laptop, zoom, files from school... transitioning to working from home has not been difficult with all of these available

- Getting to quarantine in the same neighborhood with these two dear friends - our impromptu social distancing visit, so grateful for it

- Missing mom and dad, not seeing them with this quarantine. So thankful they had a couple of great days at the lake

- Walks around our neighborhood, both with Corbin and kids (Bran and Joy appease us)

- When moms still have a say in coordinating 20-year-old's semester plans - a Corona memory for sure

- After nearly two weeks at home, it's getting harder to get out of a rut, actually engaging with family instead of just watching movies. As the Covid cases increase, and so many are losing or decreasing jobs, I'm struggling with feeling heavy and sad and more fearful. Lord I'm grateful - in the midst - that You are providing joy and energy and creativity. I don't want to "miss" what you have for us in this time.

- Tenzi poolside with my competitive little Basden

- Ziplining

- When Basden is bored she finds new hairstyles (her curls from sleeping in plastic drinking straws)

- Evidence of spring in our front yard

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles...   1 Chronicles 16:11-12
