- Hitting a point of "boredom" this summer ~ means I haven't over-scheduled kids
- Taking one day at a time. Summer is passing quickly, and it makes my heart ache a little. I so long for this relaxed schedule with margin

- Hud's team not winning District - I think I was more disappointed than Hudson. Giving thanks, because the Lord knows.
- Especially thankful for teammates' little sisters
- This week with Sung Yu. What a gift ~ he's such a joy, and he and Hudson connect so well.
- Weekend at the lake. Even with our part of the lake dry, it was so worthwhile to be there. Lots of adventure with rattlesnakes, centipedes, and alligator gar.
- Gas station hamburgers
- Bruce and Rita, their dock, and watching the fireworks from the middle of the lake. Complete with Esther's balloon dances!
- That Corbin walked around and spotted this rattlesnake moments before sitting down right on top of him. Ewwww. But very interesting.
